Charlotte Cane MP Hosts Community Meeting in Waterbeach and Announces Upcoming Event in Sutton

The event, which took place at Tillage Hall, Waterbeach, provided an opportunity for Charlotte to update constituents on her priorities for Ely and East Cambridgeshire. The Community Meeting was preceded by a productive session where Charlotte met with local Parish, District and County councillors.
During the Community Meeting, Charlotte shared an update on her time so far as Ely and East Cambridgeshire’s first MP, and answered questions from local residents in attendance. The event concluded with a chance for Charlotte to circulate, and engage further with constituents on a range of key local priorities. Unlike her regular advice surgeries, where Charlotte discusses matters with individual constituents in confidence, the Community Meeting provided an opportunity for a broader discussion on a range of issues.
Following the inaugural event in Waterbeach, Charlotte Cane MP is pleased to announce that the next Community Meeting will take place on Friday, 4 April 2025, in Sutton. This event promises to be another valuable opportunity for open dialogue and community engagement.
Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament for Ely and East Cambridgeshire, Charlotte Cane said:
"I deeply value hearing directly from my constituents and I’m grateful to everyone who attended and shared their thoughts and questions with me. I look forward to meeting with local residents at the next Community Meeting in Sutton on 4 April. In the meantime, I encourage any constituent with an issue to discuss with me to send me an email, or to book an appointment at one of my upcoming advice surgeries.”
